January 2021 is marked in Golden Letters in my head. I saw a dream with my eyes open.
In September 2021, it started taking shape, where I met the right people in Northeastern University and together established the Aspiring Product Managers Club
Till today we have conducted 20+ events with 400+ participants where our events were broadly classified as – meetups, Mock Interviews, Workshops, Speaker Series, and Case Study. Also, a special mention to our flagship product prototyping hackathon event- Protothon and first of its kind, summer product design challenge series called ‘You x Design’
After a fantastic first year, we are moving to become a product accelerator with experiential learning product based projects and have onboarded students as product managers to kick start the work.
APMC launched a first of its kind, product prototyping Hackathon called Protothon.
After multiple brainstorming meetings, we came up with an ideal outline for the hackathon. We definitely knew it shouldn’t be in a traditional 24 hour, do or die format, rather something that gives the participants an opportunity to genuinely learn.
We had 8 mentors, 33 teams and about 100 participants for this first edition. Then after the first screening round, we had 11 teams and a final top 3.
Coordinated with a team of 27 students along with faculty members and authorities.
Managed 20 workshops, activities, mentorship programs with participation over 100 students and sent delegations to conferences.
Managed a team of 36 members and handled venue selection, stage design, offline and online pre-launch marketing initiatives.
Liaised with all the other teams to completely curate event prerequisites for 150 audience members and 8 speakers.
Launched a two-day summit including workshops, talks, Ideathon with an inter-university participation of over 150 students.
Attained sponsorship from IEEE Delhi Section and the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Awareness Session, Tree-umph. Hosted SARANSH- The Rotaract District Conference
Recorded 20 pages (till date) for the visually impaired community of students as per requirements.
Increased organic reach by 14% on Facebook and 70% on LinkedIn.
Host and creative producer of ‘YP Speaks’ podcast series that generated over 2000 views on all platforms
Intermediate between students, professors and lab assistants.
Coordinated with the Head of the Department to organize events like Orientation and workshops for the department.
